Q2 2024 Android Performance: Top Fitness & Weight Loss Apps in the US

As the second quarter of 2024 comes to a close, Sensor Tower provides a snapshot of how the top Fitness and Weight Loss applications have fared on the Android platform in the US. Here's a look at the key trends for the top five apps in this competitive space.

Fitify: Fitness, Home Workout saw its revenue fluctuate, starting the quarter with approximately $9.9K and peaking at around $12.5K before ending the quarter with nearly $9.7K. Downloads peaked in late April at over 4K and tapered off to just over 2K by the end of June. Weekly active users showed a high in late April with roughly 12.6K users, but this number dipped to approximately 10K by the quarter's end.

For Kalorické Tabulky, revenue began at around $10.2K, reached a high of over $12K in mid-April, and closed the quarter at about $9.2K. Downloads started strong at nearly 3.9K, but saw a decline to around 2.6K by June. Weekly active users were most engaged in mid-April with over 77K users, but this figure decreased to around 72K towards the end of Q2.

The Mi Fitness (Xiaomi Wear) app showed no revenue, directing attention instead to download and active user metrics. Downloads declined from roughly 3.1K to 2.5K over the quarter. Weekly active users peaked in late April at over 72K but saw a slight decrease to 67.5K by June.

Pedometeter - Step Counter App also reported no revenue. Downloads were at their highest in late April with over 2.5K, but fell to around 1.5K by the quarter's end. Weekly active users experienced a high of 41.3K in late April, which later dropped to 37.5K in late June.

Lastly, Pedometer - Step Counter followed a similar pattern with no revenue. Downloads saw a sharp fall from 2.3K in early April to just 741 in late June. The number of weekly active users started at around 21K, peaked at over 21.5K in mid-May, and then declined to 18.6K by the end of the quarter.
